Well, I am so ashamed because I have been so neglectful of my blog. Since my computer was stolen, I haven't done much, then got busy with the holidays and all. ok ok enough excuses, My new years resolution is to really keep up with this blog, and make it a great place for you all to hang out. I feel like I invited every one into my house and then was a terrible hostess..LOL.
Just to catch up since Nov. School is out for the winter break, and I finished on the honor roll..WooHoo. I'm so proud!. Not bad since my laptop, my books and all my notebooks were stolen a week before finals..LOL I'm now gearing up for spring semester and the start of my senior yr. It's been a long road and I can't believe I'm this close to the finish line. And I'm starting to look at grad schools and doing applications for that. (thats scary).
In other new, the house saga continues, In Oct my water heater broke upstairs and flooded the downstairs bathroom. Anyway I filed a claim with my homeowners and so far the check has been lost at least once and I am still waiting for it. So I really want to get the damage fixed before the toilet falls through the floor, (seriously). I have a friends son that is gonna come and do some work for me this weekend, so I am very excited about that. My kitchen is still kinda of torn apart and ugly, but hey I have a great new stove finally and we cooked thanksgiving dinner here. that was fun, (check out the pics) Although it looks like it is in the middle of contruction,(cuz it is) at least I finally feel like I am getting some where with fixing up my little casa, (after 2 yrs of just living with it).
On to scrapbooking news. I am one of three Challenge Coordinators at MSS and am having a blast doing that. meeting lots of great fellow scrappers and really enjoying being a part of this great team. So check out all my new pics and links and download freebies and all. I promise to post at least once a week in 2009, (man that's weird saying 2009) lol.
